Paul Griffiths is a private landlord and rents property mainly to students, advertising via the university Accreditation schemes. He is secretary of the North Staffordshire Landlords Association, who are partners/ joint operators with Stoke on Trent Council, in the Stoke on Trent Landlord Accreditation Scheme.

Claire McMullen is manager of the Newcastle Private Rented Project, a Newcastle City Council service which provides support to private landlords
