Three Others to be elected by owners who have joined the Code( or in the first instance those stating and intention to sign the Code):

The Committee of Management will normally meet three times a year and the quorum is 5.  The Committee of Management will elect a Chair, who will serve for the period of three years. The Chair can be removed by a two thirds majority vote proposing this.

Powers of the Committee of Management
The Committee of Management is the operational body for the Code and takes overall responsibility for all aspects of its operation.

The Committee has the responsibility to:
Review the Code on an annual basis and make changes to it ( subject to the powers of the Consortium;
Approve the operational framework within which the Code works;
Decide on how owner registrations are to take effect;
Publicise the scheme to both owners and tenants;
Form a compliance panel of stakeholders to monitor the buildings covered by the Code;
Arrange for surveys of scheme landlords and tenants to be carried out to identify levels of satisfaction with the scheme;
Establish any special task groups or sub committees to take the lead in any issues relating to Code compliance

Finance
The Committee of Management has the authority to set a budget, but not a deficit budget, and will report annually on the financial status of the Code.
