The results of the first ever contested election for the post of ANUK Chair have been announced. Caren Green from Salford Council, formally the representative for the North West, beat off a challenge from Dave Princep with 34 votes to 17.

Caren expressed her delight at being elected and said that she looked forward to re-energising ANUK members in the run up to the 9th annual conference, which takes place in November. Following the announcement Dave Princep, an independent Environmental Health consultant who works in part for the Residential Landlords Association and with local Councils, congratulated Caren on her success.
