The second annual conference for providers signed-up to the ANUK/Unipol National Codes of Standards for Large Student Developments will take place on Wednesday 19th November, at the Novartis Foundation Building, Portland Street, London.

The themes for the day will focus on issues specifically of interest to staff working within larger student developments. These are likely to include:

  • monitoring equal opportunities policies
  • gathering and responding to student feedback
  • marketing accommodation let through nominations agreements
  • building sustainability into the management and consumer processes
  • producing good tenant welcome packs
  • preparing for a verification visit.

As well as the above sessions it is anticipated that the Home Office will be present to outline some possible national security standards for student accommodation.

As well as providing information on these theme the day is also intended as an ideal networking opportunity for delegates to share experiences and identify trends prevalent in this niche area of building management and identify and extend good practice.
