Some consultants cover regional geographical areas. Others, particularly those with specialisms operate across the UK. More than one consultant may be assigned a service where appropriate. Once a suitable consultant has been provided, the consultant will make direct contact with you to make all necessary arrangements.
The recommended consultancy fee is £400 per day and £250 per half day. Fees above or below this, and expenses, are negotiable between yourself and the consultant. Invoices for completed consultancy services are issued by ANUK and to whom payments are made.
MANAGEMENT OF THE CONSULTANCY
An ANUK consultancy Review Panel comprising members of the ANUK steering group manages the consultancy, and decides the suitability of the applicants to be an ANUK consultant.
Applications to become an ANUK consultant are judged in consideration of the applicants experience, skills, and knowledge of the private rented sector and accreditation issues and their capability to provide accreditation or associated landlord support services.
Consultants are endorsed by ANUK.
In the event that an employer is dissatisfied with the service provided by a consultant, the complaint is investigated and considered by the Review Panel. If found to be justified the consultant’s ANUK endorsement will be discontinued.
ANUK does not employ consultants but acts as the employment agency, accordingly
ANUK does not have liability for the quality of the services provided by the consultants.
