The National Code is voluntary and aimed at both educational establishments and private sector suppliers. Those who join do so as part of their commitment to providing students with a first-class housing service. Those who join the Code provide you with information, reassurance and a procedure that you can follow if a dispute occurs. The Code is fully supported by NUS who are a key stakeholder and have representation on the management and complaints procedures of the Code.
