Government Funding Granted For Study On Impacts Of Landlord Self-Regulation 

Leeds City Council, with support from Unipol Student Homes and the National Residential Landlords Association has successfully bid for Government funding to assess the benefits and impacts of self-regulation by landlords.  

The Government made £14 million of funding available to tackle issues with landlords, and Leeds successfully bid for £678,000 to use behavioural science techniques to improve landlord engagement with self-regulation, with the project commencing in 2023.
